Meridian is a player, not a service that holds your media. This page describes the little data the app and this site handle.
Pairing
A pairing code is a short-lived token linking the companion page to one TV. It expires after 10 minutes or on first use. What you type — a playlist URL, a server address, a username and password — is relayed to that TV over an encrypted connection and held only in memory for the seconds the relay takes. We do not write it to our databases, log it, or keep a copy after delivery.
On your TV
Once delivered, your source details live on the TV device, in its app storage. Remove them there at any time from Settings → Sources. We cannot read them.
What we never see
Playback happens directly between your TV and your source. Nothing you watch passes through us, and we keep no history, library index or viewing record.
This website
No advertising or cross-site trackers. We keep short-lived server logs (IP address, timestamp, error codes) for security and debugging, deleted after 30 days.
Diagnostics
Crash reports are opt-in and contain device model, app version and a stack trace — never URLs, credentials or titles.
